Description
The City seeks bids from a California Class A licensed contractor for construction of debris-flow mitigation measures at multiple locations. Work is divided into five schedules and includes installing fiber-roll sediment barriers, gabion walls, sandbag barriers, temporary Type K railings, and perforated corrugated metal pipe, along with excavation, construction surveying, traffic control, and stormwater pollution control. Bidders must price all schedules and submit bid security equal to 10% of the lump-sum base bid. The selected contractor must complete the work within 35 consecutive working days after the City issues the Notice to Proceed. The bidder must perform at least 50% of the work with its own organization.
