Description
The City of Tampa is soliciting sealed bids for 4-inch and 6-inch ductile iron pipe for its Water Distribution Department. The bid schedule lists 1,860 feet of 4-inch pipe and 2,780 feet of 6-inch pipe, quoted in 20-foot lengths. The award may be made by division, line item, aggregate total, or in whole or in part, and materials will be purchased on an as-needed, when-needed basis with no guaranteed minimum or maximum quantity. Pipe must be domestically manufactured and comply with applicable ANSI/AWWA standards, including cement mortar lining, asphaltic exterior coating, NSF/ANSI 61 certification for potable-water use, and a 350-psi pressure class for 4-inch through 16-inch pipe. Materials must be factory-fresh, currently in production, and delivered within 14 working days after receipt of order. Bidders must submit pricing electronically, complete the required vendor-response forms, and provide City of Tampa SLBE certification documentation if claiming the five-percent bid discount. The award period is one year, with up to three additional one-year renewals by mutual written agreement.
