Description
The City of Redlands is rebidding construction of the Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrades Project – Phase 2. The scope includes project management, labor, materials, tools, and equipment for complete construction in accordance with the contract documents, including headworks improvements; primary clarifier and sludge pump station upgrades; peak pond mixers and piping; effluent, thickening, digestion, and supernatant pond improvements; aeration basin conversion and equipment upgrades; plant-wide electrical work; and structural, civil, mechanical, instrumentation, and controls construction. The project includes upgrades to plant-wide SCADA and instrumentation systems, including Allen-Bradley ControlLogix 5580 controllers, new control panels and operator workstation, and a fault-tolerant fiber-optic Ethernet network. The estimated bid value is $39,000,000, with a 900-calendar-day duration. A Class A contractor license is required. The bid requires a 10% bid bond, 100% payment bond, and 100% performance bond.
