Legal Notice # 21942420 NASSAU COUNTY LOCAL ECONOMIC ASSISTANCE CORPORATION PUBLIC NOTICE REQUEST FOR STATEMENTS OF QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ #2026-08) The Nassau County Local Economic Assistance Corporation (the "Corporation") is soliciting statements of qualifications from qualified title insurers, title abstract firms and other qualified firms and/or persons to conduct title searches, cause the issuance of title insurance policies (either directly or as authorized agents for title insurers), perform other title insurance-related services with respect to proposed "projects" of the Corporation, and perform related professional services. A copy of the Request for Statements of Qualifications may be obtained from: http://www.nassauleac.com. Questions regarding the Request for Statements of Qualifications may be directed in writing via e-mail to the Contracting Officer at info@nassauida.org or by calling the Corporation at (516)571-1945. The deadline for submission of a Statement is 4:30 p.m., Eastern Time, on September 21, 2026.

Description
The Nassau County Industrial Development Agency is seeking statements of qualifications from qualified title insurers, title abstract firms, and other firms or individuals to provide title-insurance-related services for Agency projects. Requested services include real property title searches; issuance of, or coordination with New York-licensed title insurers to issue, title insurance policies; UCC, tax lien, judgment, litigation, PATRIOT Act, OFAC, bankruptcy, and other public-record searches; search updates; assistance clearing title issues; and escrow services for documents and funds. The Agency expects to establish an approved list and may distribute work among multiple contractors on an as-needed basis, with no guaranteed number of projects. Statements must include organizational information, relevant experience and capabilities, client references, a sample title insurance policy for an IDA project, applicable insurance evidence, project cost and time estimates, conflict-of-interest information, and required disclosure and non-collusion forms. The experience section is limited to two pages. Professional liability insurance of $1 million per occurrence and $1 million aggregate, naming the Agency as an additional insured, and workers' compensation insurance as required by law are specified.
