Description
The U.S. Navy's NAVFAC Southeast is soliciting a small business for title evidence, title insurance, escrow, and real property acquisition closing services supporting acquisitions in the vicinity of Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas. The Government intends to award a single, firm-fixed-price contract with a five-year ordering period and an estimated ceiling of $150,000. The requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The contractor will perform title searches; verify ownership, chain of title, and encumbrances; prepare preliminary reports, commitments, binders, and updates; issue Texas title insurance policies using TLTA U.S. Policy Forms T-11 and T-12; support curative title actions; conduct closings; provide escrow account services for holding and disbursing Government funds; prepare and review settlement and ancillary documents; record documents; and provide recorded originals and electronic copies. Services must comply with the Department of Justice Title Standards 2016 and applicable federal and Texas law. Proposals will be evaluated on title evidence capability and Texas licensure, acquisition capacity, escrow capability, past performance, and price.
