Description
The City of Moreno Valley is soliciting proposals for professional biological consulting, reporting, and permitting services supporting routine maintenance at the Cottonwood Basin, Oliver Street Channel, Line F Channel, and additional City drainage facilities as needed. The selected consultant will provide qualified biological staff to conduct pre-activity wildlife and botanical surveys, monitor maintenance activities, establish biological buffers and exclusion zones, and provide worker environmental awareness training. The scope also includes environmental compliance monitoring, regulatory coordination with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife and other agencies, preparation of biological and annual compliance reports, CNDDB reporting, Verification Request Forms, permit-compliance assistance, GIS mapping, GPS data collection, and agency-ready exhibits. Services must comply with CDFW Routine Maintenance Agreement No. EPIMS-RIV-63129-R6 and applicable federal, state, and local environmental requirements. The agreement is structured as a one-year base term with four optional one-year renewals. Proposals must include technical and cost information, team qualifications and resumes, work samples, client references, and City-provided response forms and affidavits.
