Description
The Town of Knightdale is soliciting construction bids for approximately 1,255 linear feet of sidewalk improvements along Knightdale Boulevard (U.S. 64 Business) and Old Knight Road. The work includes concrete sidewalks, curb ramps, curb and gutter, pavement markings, signage, traffic control, erosion control, minor roadway improvements, drainage improvements, asphalt milling and paving, and related clearing, grading, seeding, and landscaping. The project also includes relocation and installation of water and sewer facilities owned by the City of Raleigh, including a 12-inch ductile iron water line, valves, fire hydrants, water services, sewer service work, manhole adjustments, utility abandonment, and concrete encasement of an existing sewer line. Bidders must submit the required proposal materials, unit-price schedule, bid security, and certifications. The successful contractor will be required to provide performance and payment bonds, insurance, and complete the work within the contract schedule.
