Description
Mobile County Commission is soliciting sealed bids for all labor, materials, and work required for the John Paul Road and Natchez Trace Road Phase I and II construction project, identified as Project Nos. MCR-2018-206 and MCR-2020-207. The project allows 180 working days for completion and is bid excluding taxes. Bidders must hold a current Alabama general contractor license with at least one applicable major classification: Highways and Streets, Municipal and Utility, or Heavy and Railroad Construction. The bid must include a cashier's check drawn on an Alabama bank or a bidder's bond for at least 5% of the bid amount, capped at $10,000. Performance and labor-and-materials bonds, each at least equal to the contract price, plus a certificate of insurance, are required at contract signing. Out-of-state entities must provide applicable Alabama registration documentation, and contractors with Alabama employees must provide E-Verify enrollment proof before award.
