Description

The School Board of Citrus County, Florida, is soliciting proposals for new, current-generation network core switch equipment to modernize and expand its wired network infrastructure. The requested equipment includes five switch chassis, 20 power supplies, 10 multi-gigabit PoE line cards, 15 access PoE line cards, five management modules, and five hardware-exchange support services. Aruba-referenced equipment is specified, with equivalent products permitted if they meet the technical requirements and integrate with the district’s Aruba AOS-CX environment. Installation, configuration, and labor are excluded from the solicitation and will be performed by district staff. Respondents must provide firm-fixed pricing, warranty information, required E-Rate eligibility documentation, proof of insurance or insurability, authorized-distribution documentation when applicable, manufacturer literature for alternate equipment, and required certifications and forms. The contract is intended as a one-time equipment purchase, effective upon School Board approval through June 30, 2028, subject to E-Rate funding and project completion. Equipment delivery is to the district’s Technology Resource Center, and all equipment must be new, unused, current-generation products with manufacturer warranties.
