Description
Jersey City Public Schools is seeking one certified electronics recycler to provide a full-service disposition solution for a large inventory of surplus and broken technology equipment, including Chromebooks, laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, servers, switches, routers, and related components. The scope includes pickup and transport from district facilities, high-volume triage, inventory and chain-of-custody tracking, testing and dismantling, recycling, parts recovery, and evaluation of reusable items for resale or refurbishment. The contractor must securely erase or physically destroy data-storage devices using NIST 800-88-compliant methods and provide certificates of data destruction and recycling. Qualifications include demonstrated electronics-recycling expertise and familiarity with R2 and e-Stewards standards, OSHA requirements, and applicable hazardous-waste regulations. The proposed financial settlement must clearly combine any asset credit with service fees.
