Description
The Fairfax County Solid Waste Management Program is issuing a Request for Information to solicit innovative solutions supporting ongoing solid waste planning and modern, sustainable approaches to diversion, recycling, processing, and disposal. The program seeks concepts involving methods, technologies, and approaches that can strengthen solid waste system performance and support near- and long-term sustainability goals, including reducing waste generation by 25% and diverting 90% of waste by 2040.
