Description
Lehi City seeks a contractor to furnish labor, equipment, materials, and services to extend drinking-water and sewer utilities. The work includes connecting to existing systems; installing approximately 850 linear feet of 8-inch PVC water pipe, 95 linear feet of ductile iron pipe, two water service laterals, a blow-off assembly, approximately 395 linear feet of 8-inch sewer pipe, two sewer service laterals, and a dead-end sewer manhole. Lehi City will supply specified components of the blow-off assembly; the contractor supplies the remaining required materials. Related work includes removing and disposing of a park entrance sign, replacing asphalt affected by the project, providing imported trench backfill, obtaining an encroachment permit, and submitting a traffic-control plan for approval. The bid package requests a transmittal letter, project-team information, construction references and qualifications, a proposed timeline, an itemized cost proposal and billing schedule, a three-year financial report, and the completed respondent signature page. No bid bond is required. The draft agreement requires performance and payment bonds before work begins and a warranty bond or letter of credit before acceptance of the work.
