Submission Instructions
Description
The City of Burleson is soliciting bids for construction of approximately 1,900 linear feet of 12-inch waterline in two project parts. The scope includes furnishing and installing AWWA C900 PVC pressure pipe, ductile iron fittings, gate valves and boxes, an air-release valve, stub-outs, steel pipe encasement, concrete encasement, erosion protection, trench excavation and safety systems, traffic control, utility protection, construction surveying, landscaping and irrigation repair, fencing replacement, pavement restoration, topsoil, and hydro-mulch seeding. The contractor must complete the work within 180 calendar days after written notice to commence. The solicitation requires electronic submission of pricing and numerous forms and supporting documents, including a bid bond, certificate of insurance, contractor references, subcontractor information, and signed addenda. Performance, payment, and maintenance bonds are required after award and before construction begins.
