Description
The U.S. Department of the Interior intends to award a purchase order for upgrades to the National Interagency Fire Center's campus-wide Johnson Controls Metasys Building Automation System. The scope includes controller and engine firmware upgrades, replacement of outdated network control engines, server software upgrades, and device and user-interface programming to improve HVAC equipment connectivity. All work must be seamlessly compatible with the existing Johnson Controls Metasys system. The contractor must also provide quarterly visits for one additional year to optimize system operation. The notice identifies Johnson Controls, Inc. as the only reasonably available source with full authority to perform the work and access the Metasys control server-based system. Interested sources may submit a capability statement, optional price breakout, evidence of system access authority, Unique Entity Identifier, Tax Identification Number, and business-size status under NAICS 334512.
