Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting a certified SDVOSB for semiannual cleaning and maintenance of gutters, downspouts, and roof drains at the Boise VA Medical Center and adjoining Mountain Cove Campus. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, and tools; remove debris; clean and rinse gutters, downspouts, and drains; flush drain lines; confirm that pipes are unobstructed; and perform minor repairs such as reattaching, caulking, and replacing missing fasteners and parts. More extensive replacement of gutter sections or downspouts requires separate authorization. Services are scheduled in two phases during November and June, with each service completed within a two-week period and scheduled at least seven days in advance with the Contracting Officer's Representative. The contractor must submit an operational plan describing equipment and available personnel, comply with applicable safety and environmental requirements, identify on-site personnel and a contract manager after award, and observe the solicitation's SDVOSB certification and limitations-on-subcontracting requirements. The contract is firm-fixed-price, with a one-year base period and up to four option years.
