Description
The City of Boise Public Works Department is soliciting a formal bid for construction of the Sewer Extension Redesign Gowen Service District project. The work includes approximately 2,449 linear feet of 8-inch PVC gravity sewer pipe, 777 linear feet of 10-inch PVC gravity sewer pipe, and 904 linear feet of 18-inch PVC gravity sewer pipe; sanitary sewer manholes and drop manholes; connections to existing manholes; sewer service lines and service connections; CCTV inspection; sewage bypass systems; traffic control; surface restoration; abandonment or removal of existing sewer pipe, manholes, and a lift station; and related construction activities. Bids must be submitted electronically through the JAGGAER platform by the stated deadline. Required bid materials include the signed Bid Form, bid security, subcontractor information, and the electronically provided bid schedule; an Equal or Equivalent Request Form is required only if the bidder proposes an equal or equivalent item. The project also requires compliance with applicable Boise City, Idaho Standards for Public Works Construction, and Ada County Highway District requirements, including traffic control, erosion and sediment control, utility coordination, and potential asbestos-cement pipe handling and disposal.
