Description
The City of Boise is seeking qualifications from engineering firms to provide as-needed, project-by-project services for city-owned wastewater treatment facilities and wastewater system improvements. Anticipated services include utility and facility planning, studies, project development, predesign, detailed design, bidding assistance, construction support, startup and commissioning, value engineering, and related technical, regulatory, organizational, and emergency assistance. The City expects to award contracts to multiple highly ranked firms, with work authorized through individual task orders. Assignments may involve multidisciplinary engineering, construction documents, cost estimating, scheduling, permitting, operating manuals, site visits, process optimization, and coordination with contractors, consultants, and public agencies. Proposals are limited to 16 pages, excluding the signature page, appendices, and specified City forms. The response must address firm qualifications, approach, key staff, relevant wastewater project experience, and at least five client references; the supervising architect and active Idaho license number must also be identified.
