Description
The City of Pembroke Pines is soliciting bids for renovations to the existing soccer field and associated park facilities. The work includes surveying and regrading the field; removing and installing approximately 132,902 square feet of Bermuda grass sod; modifying irrigation; constructing concrete player seating pads and walkways; demolishing and replacing the existing pavilion with an approximately 15-by-24-foot aluminum pavilion; improving sports field lighting; renovating the restroom building; and restoring disturbed areas. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, permits, testing, disposal, site protection, coordination, and closeout documentation necessary for a complete, operational project. The estimated project cost is $480,000, and completion is required within 90 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit is scheduled for September 29, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. The bid must be submitted electronically through OpenGov by October 20, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time. A 5% proposal security is required when the cumulative base proposal exceeds $200,000; payment and performance bonds are required at 100% of the contract price when the awarded contract exceeds $200,000.
