The Department of Veterans Affairs, through the Great Lakes Acquisition Center, is soliciting quotes for the procurement, delivery, installation, setup, and commissioning of a Carl Zeiss Visulas Combi YAG/Green laser system for the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center (FHCC) in North Chicago, Illinois. The system must be brand name only: Carl Zeiss Visulas Combi YAG/Green. The solicitation includes 17 line items covering the main laser unit, a laser indirect ophthalmoscope, contact lenses, an isolation transformer, a network isolator, an imaging solution, a panel PC, a monocular coobservation tube, a headstrap, a footswitch, a transport case, a DICOM interface license, and installation and training services. The contractor must be an OEM, authorized dealer, distributor, or reseller. The period of performance includes delivery and installation timeline to be determined, with training within a specified number of days after installation. A minimum 12-month warranty is required. The contract will be awarded on a lowest price technically acceptable basis.
