Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole-source, firm-fixed-price purchase order with Meisystem Inc. for one MEI System 4D Tracer and associated components and services. The requirement includes one 4D TRACE Perfect Fit system for frame groove-depth measurement integrated with frame tracing; three 4D ENABLING activations and configurations for a specified bevel angle on EasyFit or EZFit edgers; Perfect Fit installation and training; and one HOYA GT-7000 Tracer for standard and wrap-frame tracing. The equipment must integrate with the facility's existing MEI System edgers and proprietary software and communication protocols, support high-precision automated three-dimensional optical measurements, and provide compatible data transfer, visualization, validation, calibration, and maintenance capabilities. The notice states that installation, training, and remote operational support are required. The agency is not requesting competitive proposals; responses must instead provide clear and convincing evidence that competition would benefit the Government.
