Description
Metro-North Railroad is soliciting bids for track repair and maintenance equipment, including Robel, Airtec, and battery-powered options. The bid price sheet provides a sample list of models and parts, but it is not exhaustive. Additional models or parts not listed may be priced at the time of requirement. Materials will be released on an as-needed basis. The contract is structured as a one-year base period with four option years. Pricing for the first contract year will be firm fixed. Subsequent years will be subject to an annual economic adjustment based on the Machinery and Equipment Parts for Construction Machinery index, the Employment Cost Index, and the Transportation Services index, with a cap of 5% for yearly increases.
