Description
The County of Westchester is soliciting sealed proposals for Contract No. WCA 26008, which covers elevator and escalator service and maintenance at Westchester County Airport, located in the Towns of Harrison and North Castle and the Village of Rye Brook, New York. The bid documents, including General Requirements, Information for Bidders, and Technical Specifications, must be obtained from the Empire State Purchasing Group website (http://www.bidnetdirect.com/new-york) after 1:00 p.m. on June 12, 2026. Bidders must register and download the documents from this website using the name of the entity that will submit the bid to ensure the County accepts their bid. A mandatory pre-bid inspection is scheduled for June 23, 2026. Bids must be submitted by 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, to the Board of Acquisition and Contract in Room 104, Michaelian Office Building, 148 Martine Ave., White Plains, New York. The bid opening will be publicly read aloud in Room 527 of the same building and will also be livestreamed via WebEx. Each bid must be accompanied by a "Bid Bond and Consent of Surety" attached to the outside of the sealed bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond equal to the first year's contract amount, or an annual renewable bond for each year of the contract. The County aims to encourage the participation of Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and Women Business Enterprises (WBE).
