Description
The Capitol Region Education Council (CREC), acting as the administrative agent for the Regional Education Service Center (RESC) Alliance Food Trust (RAFT), is soliciting proposals for paper and supplies. RAFT is a public purchasing consortium comprising school districts in Connecticut. The successful proposer will contract directly with and invoice each member school district separately. The scope of work includes providing items that meet USDA meal pattern nutritional requirements and adhere to the Buy American provision. Vendors must maintain a written HACCP-based Food Safety Program, and delivery trucks must be refrigerated and maintained in sanitary conditions. All products must meet applicable health, quality, and safety standards. The contract will be for an initial term of three years with the option for two one-year renewals.
