Description

Sebastopol Union School District is soliciting proposals to upgrade its existing local area and wireless local area network equipment at the district office, Park Side School, and Brook Haven School. The requested equipment includes network switches, wireless access points, wireless controllers, cloud management devices, multiplexers, GBICs, fiber and Cat6 patch cables, uplink cables, antennas and connectors, and UPS battery-backup equipment. The district identifies preferred Ubiquiti equipment but will consider equivalent products from other manufacturers. The scope also includes removal of existing switches and wireless access points, installation and configuration of the new local-area network equipment, wireless access points, and UPS units, and staff familiarization with the proposed equipment. Proposals must include itemized pricing for materials, installation, warranties, licenses, shipping, and sales tax; at least three references for comparable equipment; SPIN numbers; E-Rate support contact information; and confirmation of the ability to support SIP billing and discounting. The contract is for E-Rate Funding Year 2026–2027, subject to legal review and Board of Trustees approval.
