Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is soliciting lease proposals for approximately 1,600–1,900 rentable square feet of commercial retail space for Armed Forces recruiting purposes. The offered space must be located within the 29223 ZIP code in Columbia, South Carolina, provide non-exclusive parking for six government vehicles 24 hours per day, seven days per week, and meet the requirements of the Government Lease. The Government prefers a full-service five-year lease covering base rent, common-area maintenance, utilities, and janitorial services, with Government termination rights. The lessor must complete initial alterations in accordance with Government specifications, and temporary space of up to 12 months may be considered while permanent space is constructed. Responses must include the signed Proposal to Lease Space document, proposed floor plan, initial alterations quote, and an exclusivity agreement when submitted by a representative rather than the property owner.
