Description
Richland County is seeking qualified engineering consulting firms to rehabilitate Barney Jordan Landing, a publicly accessible boating facility. The scope includes topographic surveying and data collection; evaluation of existing conditions and rehabilitation alternatives; courtesy dock and pile replacement evaluation; sediment and drainage analysis; parking lot resurfacing and restriping; permitting coordination; engineering plans and technical specifications; construction cost estimates; proposal assistance; and construction administration, including inspection, requests for information, payment application review, and completion inspections. The consultant must provide a project timeline, preliminary engineering report, preliminary design package, permit coordination package, final engineering plans and specifications, an engineer’s opinion of probable construction cost, and editable and PDF electronic project files. The design must be completed within six months of contract award. Proposals may not exceed 30 pages and must include separate technical and pricing proposals, with no pricing information in the technical proposal.
