Description
This solicitation is for HVAC upgrades at Columbia Schools, specifically at an intermediate school (Add Alternate #1) and a high school (Base Bid). The work includes furnishing and installing new rooftop units (RTUs) on existing curbs, modifying supply and return ductwork, extending gas piping, and installing new DX cooling coils in existing fan coil units with new refrigerant piping to condensing units. New air handling units (AHUs) and condensing units are also required. The project includes piping modifications for heating hot water supply and return, with balancing valves. Detailed sequences of operation are provided for the building automation system (BAS) interface, including occupied/unoccupied modes, optimal start/stop, economizer control, demand control ventilation, supply fan speed control, and dehumidification. The attached document includes mechanical plans, piping diagrams, duct details, and control points lists for RTUs and VAV boxes.
