Description
This Invitation to Bid (ITB) is for the R3 Bridge Approach Paving Project for the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT). The project involves major bridge maintenance and approach paving at four bridge locations in Curry, Jackson, and Josephine Counties. The scope of work includes providing temporary work zone traffic control, earthwork, bridge deck cold plane pavement removal, furnishing and installing polymer membrane, cold plane pavement removal, constructing aggregate base, furnishing and placing emulsified asphalt tack coat, and furnishing and placing Level 3, 1/2" Dense Asphalt Concrete Pavement (ACP) Mixture (PG64-22). The project also includes additional and incidental work as called for by the contract plans and specifications. The work will be performed at four specific bridge locations: BR07991 (Bear Creek), BR08459 (Thomas Creek), BR03461 (Rogue River), and BR18273 (Rogue River). The project is estimated to cost between $250,000 and $500,000 and is anticipated to be funded with state funds. The project has a substantial completion date of September 30, 2026, and a final completion date of October 30, 2026. Liquidated damages will apply for failure to meet the substantial completion date.
