Description
Kemper County, Mississippi is soliciting bids for the resealing of approximately 11.855 miles of roads designated A through C. This project, identified as State Aid Program (SAP) Project No. SAP-35(14)S, falls under the Office of State Aid Road Construction (OSARC). Key items of work include mobilization, unclassified excavation, various types of asphalt for base and edge repair, leveling, and fog seal mixture. The project also requires seal aggregate cover material, blotter material, and fog seal mixture. Pavement markings will include 4-inch wide thermoplastic edge stripe (continuous white) and traffic stripe (skip yellow and continuous yellow), along with thermoplastic legends. The project also specifies the use of two-way clear reflective high-performance raised markers (white and yellow), and various reflectorized traffic warning, regulatory, and object marker signs. The contract time for this project is 55 working days. Bids will be awarded to the lowest qualified bidder based on published quantities.
