Description
The City of Zephyrhills is soliciting bids for intersection improvements at Eiland Boulevard and Fort King Road. The project involves constructing a southbound right-turn lane along the southbound approach, with a total widening length of approximately 300 feet. This includes demolition of existing concrete curbing, milling and resurfacing of the asphalt pavement, clearing and site preparation, grading, earthwork, installation of erosion and sediment control measures, construction of stabilized subgrade and asphalt pavement sections, driveway reconstruction, installation of concrete curb and gutter, ADA-compliant sidewalk and curb ramps, drainage improvements, pavement striping, signage, pedestrian signal and loop detector replacement, and restoration of disturbed areas. The work will be performed in accordance with construction plans prepared by Kimley-Horn dated February 2026. The project is expected to be completed within 120-150 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Bidders must submit a technical proposal on a pass/fail basis and a price proposal through the City's eProcurement Portal. A bid bond of 5% of the total bid price is required.
