Description
The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Division of Plant Industry, is soliciting secured boarding services for two working canines located in or near Davie, Florida. The contractor must provide 24-hour, seven-day-per-week availability; unrestricted handler access; on-site veterinary services; secure parking; grooming capability; emergency care or transportation; feeding and medication according to agency direction; and timely communication regarding each dog's condition. The kennel must meet detailed facility, security, sanitation, quarantine, ventilation, temperature-control, run, drainage, exercise, and Animal Welfare Act requirements. The initial contract term is one year, with up to three additional one-year renewal terms by mutual agreement. Bidders must provide three recent, similar client references, complete the required attachments and price sheet, maintain applicable licenses and permits, and provide required insurance after award and before beginning work.
