Description
This Request for Information seeks vendor capability information for providing trained therapy dog and handler teams to the Los Angeles Superior Court's Juvenile Division. The intended program would provide trauma-informed, animal-assisted emotional support to youth and families involved in Juvenile Dependency and Juvenile Justice cases across nine listed juvenile courthouse locations in Los Angeles County. Upon request and subject to availability, vendors would deploy certified dog-handler teams, maintain professional courtroom decorum, comply with confidentiality protocols, manage dog care, safety, and cleanup, and provide timely communication regarding service interruptions. Dogs must demonstrate calm behavior, reliable obedience, public-access skills, appropriate task performance, current vaccinations and veterinary care, and freedom from contagious conditions. Respondents must submit an executive summary, technical approach/work plan/methodology, and general pricing or pricing ranges for market-research purposes. This RFI is informational only and does not constitute a solicitation or offer for a binding contract.
