Description
The Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District is seeking qualifications from firms to provide biological and environmental consulting services on an as-needed basis. Potential services include biological monitoring and surveys; species identification, habitat assessments, trapping, relocation, exclusion, tagging, and banding; vegetation and rare-plant services; wetland and jurisdictional delineations; riparian impact and hydrological assessments; GPS/GIS mapping and analysis; literature review; biological report preparation; CEQA review and mitigation development; and permitting assistance. Selected firms may be placed on a prequalification list and may receive on-call contracts for task-order work. The on-call contracts and prequalification list are valid for up to four years, with each on-call contract expected to have an approximate total value of $400,000. Qualifications submissions are limited to six pages excluding resumes, the Services Checklist, permits, and service-example documents, and must include the completed Services Checklist, team composition and references, resumes, a project-administration example, a GIS map and feature-class example, applicable service examples, regulatory permits and training certifications, a first-year fee schedule, and a statement accepting the District’s agreement and insurance requirements.
