Description
The City of Huntington is soliciting West Virginia-licensed contractors to inspect the telescopic seating system at Marshall Health Network Arena and perform necessary repairs or provide repair or replacement recommendations based on ICC Code 300. The attached seating inspection spreadsheets identify extensive repairs and replacements involving guide rods, posts, row locks and trippers, track bearings, runner bars, skirts, strap braces, outriggers, structural hardware, armrests, seat clamps, seat numbers, and related components. The bid packet states that contractors working within Huntington city limits must obtain a Huntington general business license and provide a West Virginia contractor’s license, a West Virginia business registration certificate, and a certificate of general liability insurance with at least $300,000 per occurrence and $600,000 aggregate coverage, naming the City as certificate holder. Building permits and subcontractor information may also be required.
