Description
UK King's Daughters Medical Center is soliciting sealed lump-sum bids from prime contractors to prepare and improve an existing CT imaging suite for replacement CT equipment. The scope includes demolition, architectural, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, structural, technology, and related modifications needed to create a fully operational, code-compliant imaging environment. The CT scanner and HVAC equipment are owner furnished; the contractor is responsible for the associated construction and system modifications, including temperature, humidity, ventilation, air distribution, and equipment-cooling requirements. Bids must be submitted on the official Form of Proposal with a bid bond. The apparent low bidder may be required to attend a post-bid scope review. The successful contractor must achieve substantial completion within 30 consecutive calendar days from the commencement date specified in the Work Order, followed by final completion 30 days later. A bid guarantee of at least 5% is required, along with 100% performance and payment bonds.
