Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is soliciting bids for tree trimming, pruning, skirting, tree and shrub removal, chipping, stump removal or grinding, cleanup, and legal disposal of debris at various Caltrans District 10 properties in eight California counties. Work includes services performed adjacent to energized and non-energized power lines and is provided on an as-needed basis to maintain the property inventory. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, vehicles, tools, materials, permits, travel, cranes or personnel hoists, traffic control, disposal, and incidental costs. Bidders must meet the specified California contractor licensing, arborist, line-clearance tree-trimmer, crane-operator, motor-carrier, and labor-registration requirements. The agreement is estimated to run for three years, and the bid may not exceed $484,000. A five percent DVBE participation requirement and applicable small-business preference provisions remain in effect. Addendum 2 extends the bid deadline to October 20, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time; the bid opening is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. the same day.
