Description
Northwestern State University is soliciting sealed bids for the demolition of Prudhomme Hall under Project No. 01-107-24-05. Eligible contractors must hold a Louisiana license for Building Construction or Rigging, House Moving, Wrecking, and Dismantling (Classification 1.10). Bid security equal to 5% of the base bid plus all alternates is required, and the successful bidder must furnish performance and payment bonds as specified in the bid documents. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for October 13, 2026, at the Facilities & Plant Operation Room 126. Bid documents are available without charge by contacting the university purchasing office. Sealed bids are due October 29, 2026, and will be publicly opened and read aloud. The opportunity is associated with Louisiana's Small Entrepreneurship and Veteran-Owned and Service-Connected Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Entrepreneurship programs, with participation encouraged.
