Description
The Rapides Parish School Board is soliciting bids for improvements to the track and field event areas at Tioga High School. The base bid includes haul-route matting, saw cutting, removal of existing synthetic surfacing, repairs to failed track asphalt and base areas, milling, construction of new asphalt pavement base and pavement, installation of a full-pour synthetic rubber surface system, painted lane striping and markings, a concrete walk strip, and site cleanup. Three alternates cover removal and replacement of existing galvanized chain-link fencing and gates with ornamental aluminum picket fencing, vinyl-coated chain-link fencing, and associated concrete walk strips. Bidders must provide bid security of at least 5% of the total bid price; the successful bidder must furnish 100% performance and payment bonds. Bids may be submitted electronically through Central Bidding or by sealed delivery to the Purchasing Department.
