Description
This Sources Sought notice seeks capable small businesses for a potential solid waste management services contract supporting the Aerial Port of Debarkation at England Airpark, Alexandria International Airport. The contractor would provide all labor, vehicles, equipment, materials, supervision, and related services for collection, transportation, recycling coordination, and disposal of solid waste. The scope requires a minimum of seven 40-cubic-yard roll-off containers, with up to seven additional containers available as directed. Services include bulky-item collection at least weekly when required, unscheduled collections within four duty hours of notification, direct transportation to permitted disposal facilities without using transfer facilities, container and vehicle covering, spill and debris cleanup, restricted-waste identification, and compliance with applicable environmental, safety, licensing, and disposal requirements. This is a Sources Sought notice rather than a request for quotes, bids, or proposals; respondents are asked to provide capability, past-performance, commercial-availability, pricing-basis, and teaming information.
