Description
The Rapides Parish School Board is soliciting sealed bids for improvements to the synthetic track and field event areas at Tioga High School. The base bid includes haul route matting, saw cutting, removal of existing synthetic surfacing, repairs to failed asphalt pavement and base, milling, new asphalt pavement, installation of a full-pour synthetic rubber surface system, painted lane striping and markings, a concrete walk strip, and site cleanup. Alternates include removal and replacement of sections of existing chain-link fencing and gates with ornamental aluminum picket fencing, vinyl-coated chain-link fencing, and associated concrete walk strips. Bidders must provide bid security of at least 5% of the total bid price; the successful bidder must furnish 100% performance and payment bonds. Bids may be submitted electronically through Central Bidding or by sealed delivery to the school board's Purchasing Department.
