Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex Hazelton, is soliciting firm-fixed-price offers for various certified kosher and halal prepared meals for fiscal year 2027, quarter 1. The schedule includes halal and kosher meat, dairy, and parve meals such as beef goulash, beef pot roast, cheese and Spanish omelets, chicken cacciatore, chicken chow mein, chicken wings, filet of sole, Hawaiian meatballs, roasted chicken breast, meatloaf, pasta with vegetarian meat sauce, lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs, turkey cutlets, eggplant Creole, and stuffed peppers. Quantities range from 30 cases to 1,680 individual meals, with exact specifications and no substitutions permitted. The contractor must comply with the BOP National Menu Specifications and religious-diet requirements. Deliveries are FOB destination and must be palletized unless prior arrangements are made; temperature controls apply to perishable, canned, and frozen foods, and certified religious-diet items must display the Kosher symbol on individual packages. Delivery is required between October 1 and October 16, 2026, during designated weekday receiving hours. Offers will be evaluated on price and past performance, and the Government may make a single award, multiple awards, or no award.
