Description
Tarrant County is soliciting bids for one heavy haul trailer for Precinct 4 Maintenance to transport equipment, including pavers, to and from work sites. The trailer must meet detailed minimum specifications, including a 55-ton distributed capacity, three 22,500-pound axles, an 8-foot-6-inch minimum platform width, a 26-foot minimum platform length, paver taper deck, apitong decking, folding and adjustable ramps, a gooseneck connection, hydraulic quick couplers, adjustable fifth-wheel height, air-ride suspension, LED lighting, storage for chains and binders, a pony motor, and multiple ride-height and king-pin settings. Bidders must provide the trailer price, delivery fee, and a model-specific list of specifications addressing every minimum requirement. Award will be made to the lowest bidder meeting or exceeding all specifications, followed by purchase-order placement after court award.
