Description
The Detroit Transportation Corporation is soliciting proposals from qualified and experienced firms to provide rail grinding services for maintenance of its rail transit system. The work must follow applicable industry standards and best practices and is intended to restore the system to a State of Good Repair by addressing identified rail conditions and improving track condition, performance, and service life. The contractor must participate in the Detroit Transportation Corporation’s drug and alcohol program upon request. The procurement is federally funded and requires the applicable federal certifications and proposal materials identified in the solicitation.
