Description

Bridgewater Resources Inc., in conjunction with New Jersey Rail Carrier, LLC, is soliciting sealed bids for Phase 1A of a rail freight facility improvement project. The primary work includes installing 1,094 feet of new jointed rail track directly into a transfer station to support gondola and intermodal railcar loading inside the building. Additional work includes new drainage inlets, a rail-side ditch, an underdrain connection to the existing drainage system, installation of a combined truck/rail scale supported by micropiles for its foundation, and miscellaneous track installation and upgrade work. Bidders must comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27.
