Description
Ocean County is soliciting a contractor to furnish and deliver beam guide rail and tangent guide rail elements, including W-beam rail sections, weathering and galvanized steel rail elements, posts, end sections, terminal and anchorage kits, cables, blockouts, delineators, bolts, nuts, washers, and related hardware. Items include specified tangent terminals such as SKT-SP and MSKT-SP-MGS assemblies and associated hardware packages, manufactured in accordance with the stated New Jersey Department of Transportation, ASTM, AASHTO, and other applicable specifications. The contract also includes furnishing, delivering, and installing beam guide rail at locations outside roadway clear zones, including areas near County recreational trails. Installation may require small equipment or manual post-hole tools, limited site preparation, field cutting, post installation, assembly, and securing rail bolts. Delivery is to the Bridge Division at the Ocean County Garage or as specified on a purchase order. The material is to be supplied for one year from the date of award.
