Description
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission is soliciting bids for the like-for-like removal and replacement of one existing Raypak H7-1104A MVB hydronic boiler at Austin State Hospital. The contractor must furnish labor, materials, equipment, supervision, demolition, disposal, installation of the replacement boiler and flue vent system, reconnection of existing electrical, gas, and hydronic connections, and installation of a system temperature sensor and associated piping. The work also includes refilling and purging the hydronic loop, leak and pressure checks, startup, testing, commissioning, flue-vent verification, cleanup, and disposal. Installation must be completed by a licensed plumbing or mechanical contractor. Bidders must have at least three years of relevant experience and provide at least three verifiable references for similar work performed within the last three years. The contract begins upon award, expires August 31, 2027, and may be extended for up to one year.
