Description
The City of Houston is requesting Statements of Qualifications from professional engineering firms for the Potomac and Nantucket Drainage and Paving Improvement Project. The selected consultant will develop solutions for stormwater drainage, roadway and sidewalk paving, water and wastewater improvements, utility conflicts, environmental considerations, landscaping, traffic control, stormwater pollution prevention, tree protection, mobility enhancements, and related infrastructure needs. The scope includes three phases: preliminary design, final design, and construction-phase services. Deliverables and activities include hydrology and hydraulics modeling using InfoWorks ICM, a Preliminary Engineering Report, 30% plans, Technical Review Committee support, bid-ready plans and specifications, agency coordination, bidding assistance, construction inspections, submittal and RFI review, change-order support, progress meetings, and record drawings. The SOQ is limited to eight single-sided pages, excluding the cover, cover letter, section dividers, back cover, and required forms and documents; it must be submitted as a landscape PDF using a minimum 11-point Arial font and 1.5-line spacing.
