Description
The City of San Buenaventura is soliciting proposals for comprehensive landscaping services at parks, beaches, medians, wall planters, sidewalks, sanitation and water facilities, and other city properties. The scope includes landscape and irrigation maintenance and repair, mowing, pruning, fertilization, pest and weed control, litter and trash removal, sidewalk and hardscape maintenance, tree maintenance, fountain and tennis-court maintenance, park and reservation-site preparation, and emergency response. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and applicable licenses, and must comply with prevailing-wage requirements. Partial bidding is acceptable, and the City may award to one or more contractors. The contract is not a recompete of the existing landscape-services contract. No bid or performance bond is required. The contract has an initial one-year term with four optional one-year extensions, not to exceed five years. Addendum 3 updates the insurance requirements, including $5 million commercial general liability per occurrence, $2 million pollution liability per occurrence or claim, $2 million auto liability per occurrence, and workers' compensation with $500,000 employer's liability limits.
