Description
The City of Ojai is seeking professional recruiting services to fill its Public Works Director position. The selected consultant will meet with City leadership and key personnel, develop a position profile and advertising brochure, conduct national, regional, state, and local outreach, place advertisements in professional publications and online platforms, screen applicants through interviews or videoconferences, develop a finalist list, and provide recommendations and assistance with finalist interviews and the selection process. Proposals must address the firm's qualifications, references, key staff, project approach and work plan, schedule, cost proposal, client references, and any proposed contract exceptions. The engagement is scheduled to begin October 28, 2026, and conclude February 1, 2027. The City may award one or multiple agreements.
