Description
Salt Lake City Corporation is seeking pre-qualification submissions from general contractors for two projects: irrigation replacement and turf reduction at Rose Park Golf Course and irrigation replacement at Nibley Park Golf Course. The work includes abandoning or removing existing irrigation components, installing new mainlines, service feeds, laterals, heads, automatic irrigation systems, and control systems, and phasing construction while the golf courses remain operational. The Rose Park work also includes a two-stage settling pond with a drivable bottom and clay-sealed liners, a factory-built pump station, wet well, supply piping, electrical equipment, conduit, wiring, and related structures. Nibley Park includes a factory-built booster pump station and new service-line feed from the City's water system. Only pre-qualified prime contractors may submit later bids. The combined engineer's estimated value is approximately $8,500,000. Pre-qualification requires company and project experience, organizational and personnel information, quality and safety information, bonding capacity, and verifiable references, including at least three similar projects completed within the last five years and two full 18-hole golf-course irrigation renovations completed within that period.
